About Me
I am currently a Professional Division (PD) student at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School in Seattle, WA. My goal is to secure a job in a ballet company that includes a mixed repertory, including Balanchine works, contemporary ballets, and classical story ballets with character roles. I am a graduate of the Conservatory at the Northeast School of Ballet in MA. This pre-professional training program allowed me to train in ballet and other forms of dance (including ballroom, jazz, modern, contemporary, and cross-training) during the school day while I completed my academic studies through a virtual public school that offered a lot of flexibility. I managed approximately 30 hours of dancing each week and 30 hours of academics and maintained a high GPA, including taking honors and AP classes. I love performing and I especially enjoy performing comedic character roles that involve a lot of antics (like the Court Jester in Cinderella and Grandmother in The Nutcracker). In the summers I have trained at the Chautauqua Summer Dance Program and the Pacific Northwest Ballet Summer Intensive. I am also interested in science and video game design and have skills in video editing. I love all animals and especially love my dog. In my spare time I have helped to raise money for ALS Research through walk-a-thons.
